David Cushing is an artist, sculptor and creative leader based between Los Angeles and Santa Fe

David's practice moves between figurative sculpture, conceptual work for the public realm and large-scale experiential design.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has conceived and delivered ambitious environments for international broadcasts, technology organizations, cultural events and live audiences.

David's work is informed by a longstanding interest in how ideas become physical—and how objects, environments and stories influence the way people gather, behave, perceive and connect.

He is actively developing collaborations with commissioners, fabricators, engineers, architects, cultural organizations and communities interested in creating meaningful work at civic scale.
